About US
LAtched BSC was founded by an Internationally Board Certified Lacation Consultant (IBCLC). She envisioned a place where mothers could go if they were having breastfeeding difficulties or just needing additional support and reassurance. She also envisioned a place that served as a resource to other healthcare providers serving breastfeeding families. It was strongly felt that this center should be accessible to all families, regardless of ability to pay.

The “Latch & Love” Program
Income & insurance coverage should not be a barrier to professional lactation support. Our Latch & Love program is our largest program and helps subsidize the costs for our mothers whose insurance does not cover the cost of appointments and paying out-of-pocket isn’t an option.
- Mothers who receive Medicaid, WIC, SNAP, or TANF automatically qualify for free lactation services.
- Eligibility for Free and Reduced Cost services is based on income and family size on a sliding scale. Reduced cost services start at just $10 a visit
- Some private insurances will cover lactation services for up to 6 visits.

Samantha is amazing! I was struggling with breast feeding my 3rd child and honestly thought about giving up because I was hurting so bad. She was so patient and kind. Listened to all my worries, concerns, complaints, and fears! After doing an assessment she told me some different ways to position and nurse baby. When having complications of clogged ducts she answered all my questions even sending videos to help guide me. Always scheduled weekly appointments until I was comfortable with nursing on my own. I would recommend Samantha to anyone that may be struggling, have questions or just need help with breast-feeding. Like I said before she is amazing. I can’t thank her enough. She truly has a heart of gold.
